🔹 What is Email Distribution Reporting?

Agility allows you to track the performance of your email distributions by providing detailed metrics on opens, clicks, and responses. These insights help you measure how well your emails are engaging your recipients, and allow you to adjust your strategies for improved results.

Let’s walk through the steps to analyze your email distributions effectively.

🔹 Track Key Metrics in Your Reports

Once your email distribution is sent, data will start rolling in. In the coming hours and days, your email reports will update as your recipients interact with the email. To access your reports:

  1. Navigate to Media Relations.

  2. Select Email Distributions.

In your Account Statistics Dashboard, you will find a chart tracking your use of your email allowance, and a useful overview of key metrics such as:

  • Delivery rate

  • Opens rate: How many times was the email opened?

  • Click rate: How many times were links clicked?

You can filter by date range to get a sense of performance over time. Hover over the info icons next to each metric for more detailed insights.

🔹 Step-by-Step Guide to Viewing Email Distribution Reports

Step 1: Access Your Report

  1. Look for any distribution marked with a Sent status.

  2. Click on it to open its detailed report.

Step 2: Review Key Metrics

  • Open Rate: The percentage of recipients who opened the email.

  • Click Rate: The percentage of recipients who clicked on a link.

You’ll also see data for the first 24 hours and over a 7-day period, which helps you understand how engagement evolves over time.

Step 3: Analyze Link Performance

Scroll to the bottom of the report to see which links were clicked. This shows which content attracted the most attention.

🔹 Track Individual Recipient Engagement

To drill deeper into your email performance, click the Recipients tab. Here you’ll be able to see:

  • Who opened your email and how many times.

  • Who clicked your links and how often.

You can filter recipients by engagement—such as those who clicked—and create a new list or send a follow-up distribution directly from the report.

🔹 Why Timing Matters for Accurate Results

For the most accurate insights, it’s best to wait 24 hours after sending the email. This allows time for all opens and clicks to be counted and provides a clearer view of your email's performance.

🔹 Understanding Open and Click Metrics

  • Open vs. Unique Open: Unique Opens count the first open by each recipient, while Regular Opens count every time the email is opened.

  • Click vs. Unique Click: Unique Clicks count the first click by each recipient, while Total Clicks count every click.

🔹 Adjusting for Apple Mail Privacy Protection

Agility accounts for Apple Mail Privacy Protection, providing estimated metrics to help adjust for Apple users who may block tracking. Be aware that some recipients may open emails without enabling images, which could slightly underreport open rates.

🔹 Export Data for Offline Use

Want to analyze your email performance offline or share it with others? Simply click Export to download your open and click data to Excel for further analysis.

🔹 Use Data to Improve Future Campaigns

Let the data guide your strategy. If your open rates are low, consider tweaking your subject lines. If clicks are low, try adjusting your call-to-action or layout to boost engagement.

Your email reports aren’t just numbers—they provide powerful insights that help you refine your outreach, build smarter lists, and improve your email campaigns over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon are reports available?

Reporting begins shortly after your email distribution is sent and continues updating as recipients interact with your email.

For a more complete picture, wait approximately 24 hours before evaluating performance.

Can I see who opened my email?

Yes.

The Recipients tab lets you view recipient-level engagement, including opens and clicks, where tracking information is available.

Why doesn't my open rate look accurate?

Some email providers use privacy protections that limit open tracking.

Because of this, open rates should be viewed as an estimate rather than an exact count.

What is the difference between Opens and Unique Opens?

Opens count every time an email is opened.

Unique Opens count each recipient only once.

The same distinction applies to Clicks and Unique Clicks.

Can I export my report?

Yes.

Click Export to download your reporting data for additional analysis or sharing.
