How do I create or use an email template?

Reuse past distributions or drafts for new email releases

Agility allows you to quickly repurpose any saved draft or previously sent email as a starting point for a new distribution. This makes it easy to maintain consistency across your outreach and saves time when sending follow-ups or recurring updates.


🔹 Creating a New Distribution from a Past Email

Step 1: Start a New Distribution

In Amplify, click Create New Distribution.

Step 2: Choose to Create from a Past Distribution

Select Create this from a Past Distribution.

This opens a list of your previously sent releases and saved drafts.

Step 3: Select the Email You Want to Use

You can:

  • Scroll through the list to find the email
    OR

  • Type the name in the search bar to locate it instantly

Step 4: Create a Copy

Agility will generate a copy of the selected email.

You can then:

  • Edit and update the content as needed

  • Save the new email under a new name

  • Modify all included elements before sending

⚠️ Important:

The new distribution will include all elements from the original version, such as:

  • Text

  • Images

  • Attachments

  • Target lists

  • Settings

Be sure to review each section and update anything that should not be carried over.

By starting from a past distribution, you can easily build continuity across your outreach efforts.
