Broadcast content is supplied through our partner TVEyes and is now monitored directly through your Topics. Simply include the TV and Radio media types when creating or editing a Topic to receive broadcast coverage alongside your other media monitoring results.

Important
Existing TV and Radio subscriptions are automatically paused as part of the transition to the full TVI feed.
To continue monitoring broadcast coverage, create or update a Topic that includes the TV and Radio media types.
During the transition period, you can still request a backfill of up to 90 days of historical broadcast coverage.
🔹Include TV and Radio in a Topic
To monitor broadcast coverage:
Create a new Topic or edit an existing one.
Enter the keywords or Boolean search you want to monitor.
Select TV and Radio as media types.
Configure any additional search settings, such as regions or languages, if needed.
Save your Topic.
Matching broadcast coverage will appear alongside your online, print, and social coverage in your Topic results.
🔹Historical Broadcast Coverage
Following the transition to the full TVI feed, broadcast content is searched directly through Topics.
During the transition period, you can still request a backfill of up to 90 days of historical broadcast coverage to help migrate from existing broadcast subscriptions.
After the transition period, broadcast subscriptions will no longer be required to search broadcast content.
🔹 View Broadcast Mentions
Once your Topic begins collecting broadcast coverage, you can review TV and radio mentions directly from your Topic results.
To view a broadcast clip:
Open a Topic that includes the TV and Radio media types.
Select a TV or radio mention from the results list.
The broadcast clip will appear in the right-hand panel.
Click Play to watch or listen.

🔹 If a Broadcast Mention Is Missing
If you expected a TV or radio mention but it doesn't appear in your Topic:
Confirm that your Topic includes the TV and Radio media types.
Verify that your search terms would match the broadcast.
If you're looking for historical coverage from the previous 90 days during the transition period, request a backfill if applicable.
If syndicated versions of a broadcast appear but the original broadcast is missing, or you continue to experience missing broadcast coverage, please contact Agility Support for further investigation.
To help us investigate, include:
Broadcast or station name
Program name (if known)
Broadcast date and approximate time
Your Topic name
A link or reference to the broadcast, if available
🔹 Saving Broadcast Mentions
To save a broadcast clip for reporting, editing, or sharing:
Select the checkbox beside the mention
Click Save in the toolbar
Once saved:
The clip becomes part of your Saved Coverage
The video/audio remains playable for 30 days
The metadata (title, timestamp, AVE, impressions, etc.) stays in your account indefinitely for reporting
You can now edit, trim, tag, and include the mention in briefings, alerts, and reports.
🔹 Edit Broadcast Clips with the Media Editor
The Media Editor allows you to trim a broadcast clip to include only the portion you want to keep.
Step 1: Open the Media Editor
After saving the broadcast mention, select Open Media Editor from the right-hand panel.
Step 2: Select the Clip
You can:
Use Set Start and Set End while the clip plays.
Highlight portions of the transcript to generate start and end points.
Scroll through the program timeline to locate additional context.
Step 3: Preview the Clip
Select Preview to review your edits.
If necessary, manually adjust the start or end points if the transcript timing isn't perfectly aligned.
Step 4: Save the Edited Clip
Select Next, then Finish.
Saving the edited clip generates an Instant Play Link that you can:
Share with colleagues.
Include in briefings.
Access from Saved Coverage.
The Instant Play Link remains active for 30 days.
Important
Edited clips cannot be edited again.
To make further changes, delete the edited clip, save the original broadcast again, and create a new edited version.

Use focused keywords or Boolean searches to improve matching.
Save important broadcast mentions before sharing or editing them.
Trim clips with the Media Editor to highlight the most relevant portion of a broadcast.
If expected broadcast coverage continues to be missing after verifying your Topic settings, contact Agility Support for investigation.

Can I search older broadcasts?

Why can't I find a broadcast I expected to see?
First, verify that your Topic includes the TV and Radio media types and that your search terms match the broadcast.
If the broadcast is still missing—especially if syndicated versions appear but the original does not—contact Agility Support so the coverage can be investigated.
How long are broadcast clips available?
Saved TV and radio clips remain playable for 30 days.
The associated metadata remains available in your account for reporting.
Can I edit a broadcast clip more than once?
No.
After an edited clip has been saved, it cannot be edited again. To make additional changes, delete the edited version, save the original broadcast again, and create a new edited clip.
