Agility is required to report all UK licensed articles made available to customers to both the NLA and CLA. This applies to online and print media types.
In our reporting to the NLA and CLA, Agility includes the articles which are made available to clients, included but not always limited to the following ways:
Any mention that is shown in a set of topic results
Any mention that is saved
Any mention that is included in a report
Any mention that is included in a briefing or alert
The only way to ensure no articles are sent from our reporting would be to suppress the content from your monitoring searches.
🔹NLA Licensed Content
Agility will show NLA-licensed print and online articles in Topic results (with an active NLA licence).
NLA content will not appear in ad-hoc searches, to protect you from unexpected use of licensed content.
Articles count as “made available" and will be reported if they appear on the first page of the topic results page.
When any user clicks to the next page, the results on the next page will also be counted as “made available”.
Licensed articles within briefings, alerts and reports will be reported to the NLA.
🔹CLA Licensed Content
When monitoring content from UK publications licensed by the CLA, you will see a key next to the headline of media mentions, as shown below.
To access the article, click the key. This will trigger Agility to report to the CLA that the article has been made available to you.
This is not the only function in the platform that triggers our reporting to the CLA. The only way to ensure no articles are sent from our reporting would be to suppress the content from your monitoring searches.
Licensed articles within briefings, alerts and reports will be reported to the CLA.
