NLA and CLA Licensed Content Guide

Updated over a week ago

🔹NLA and CLA Licensed Content

When monitoring content from UK publications, you may see a key next to the headline of some media mentions, as shown below.

As explained when you hover over the it, this key is applied to NLA and CLA licensed content to ensure that you only access licensed content that is of value to you. You will not have access to content without clicking the key first.

Agility is required to report all articles made available to customers in our monthly reporting to both the NLA and CLA. The key is an indicator of the content that this relates to. This applies to online and print media types.

In our reporting to the NLA and CLA, Agility includes the articles which are made available to clients but not limited to the following:

  • Any mention that is saved

  • Any mention that is accessed by clicking the key

  • Any mention that is included in a report

  • Any mention that is included in a briefing or alert

🔹Accessing licensed articles within the Agility platform

To access the article, click the key.

🔹Articles inside briefings, alerts and reports

Licensed articles within briefings, alerts and reports will be reported to the NLA and CLA.

While the key icon helps you to identify NLA and CLA content within your search results, it isn't the only function in the platform that triggers our reporting to the NLA and the CLA. The only way to ensure no articles are sent from our reporting would be to suppress the content from your monitoring searches.
