Using AI Analysis in Media Briefings

Updated this week

Within a briefing you can add an AI Analysis, which will analyse a selection of articles according to your instructions.

You can analyse saved coverage, article-by-article, or as a whole, and include the analysis alongside your media mentions.

You can also automate the process, so that your recurring coverage briefings include an analysis written to your instructions.

🔹Adding an AI Analysis to your briefing

  1. Firstly add the section from the Briefing Components

    2. Reposition your analysis section within the briefing if you wish, and then apply your settings using the pencil icon within the component.

    3. Your settings will include the coverage you would like analysed, an analysis focus, the date range and the type of analysis you'd like.

In the example below, I am setting up the briefing to 'Generate on Publish', which will automatically analyse my coverage as the briefing is published and delivered to me by email. You also have the option to Generate Now so that you can see and edit the analysis.

The summary below was quickly generated by an instruction to apply an Executive Summary to a selection of media coverage, and include key takeways.

    4. If you choose to Generate Now, you'll be taken to the Generate Analysis window, where you can select your analysis, and review and edit the results.

The analysis shown below is presenting Top Narratives, summarising the main themes from within the last 30 days worth of coverage, and providing links to example articles.

5. As well as having the ability to apply an Executive Summary, Key Takeaways, Brand Impact, Top Narratives or Senitment Opinion to any group of mentions within your briefing, you also have the freedom to create your own Custom Prompt, which truly opens up a range of possibilties.
