How can I add an outlet's newsdesk email to my list?

How to add an outlet's 'general' email to your list.

There may be occasions when you would prefer to send your release to the outlet's news desk email rather than to a particular person on staff. You can build these lists of outlets and news desk email addresses via an outlet search.

Should you have just one or two outlets in mind that you would like to add to a list, you can do the following:

Step 1: Search for the outlet using Agility's quick search box on the upper right of the page. Type in the name of the outlet and you'll be shown a list of similarly named outlets.

Step 2: Click on "View All" to see a page listing all of the found outlets.

Step 3: From here, locate the outlet you need and check the tick box to the left of the outlet's name.


Step 4: Once selected, click on the "Actions" button to the upper right and choose "Save Selected as a List".

Step 5: The succeeding window will let you choose whether to save the outlet to a new list or to one of the lists you created previously.

Once done, open the list to which you added the new contact and you'll see that it added the outlet's designated general outlet contact email address!
